Well, you don’t have to. Publish less often but make sure your content is high-quality. Remember, content is king and people want real value.
2 – Focus on Long Tail Keywords
When you do keyword research, look for those long-tail keywords.
The way that people search for information has changed over the years. For example, in the past many content marketing techniques focused on broad keywords.
Broad keywords are not specific. They are more general, have very high search volume and are too competitive to rank.
On the other hand, long tail keywords are more specific and targeted, low search volume, and lower competition.
Incorporate long tail keywords into your content marketing strategies. These are usually phrases that are 4 words or more.
Work these keywords into the title of your content. As you write the content, you’ll naturally find that you include variations of these long tail keywords
3 – Use Your Spell Checkers
I am amazed by the number of blog posts I read with bad spelling or grammar mistakes.
How do you feel when you happen upon a blog post with tons of errors? It’s harder to read and just makes me not trust the writer!
I like to write all my content in a good document program that has spelling and grammar checker. Don’t skip this content marketing strategy tip!
Also read your content before you publish it. For example, even when I use my spell checker, it doesn’t always find words that are spelled correctly but used incorrectly!
4 – Create Valuable Content
Is your content helpful? What solutions are you providing to your readers?

People are scouring the Internet to find answers to their questions. Are you answering those questions?

These fall under the category of how-to articles and lists. These type of articles are popular and get shared the most. In addition, when you are creating valuable content, your audience will keep coming back for more!
Along with writing longer content, you should ensure the content is helpful. Include actionable steps, suggestions, and tips that your readers can actually use. The majority of the content that you release should provide some benefit to your readers.
5 – Share Your Content on Social Media
You can benefit greatly from sharing your content in social media.
For example, whenever I share my content to certain Google plus communities, I get a ton of traffic!
I’d be crazy not to continue doing that.
Remember, some people prefer to find content within their social media networks so don’t only depend on search engine optimization for driving traffic to your blog.
People are more likely to share as well when they are already in a social media platform.
