In any business, especially network marketing, there are days when we just don’t feel like it! Ever felt that way?
We all have moments and days like that. You don’t feel like writing a blog post, creating a video or talking to a new prospect.
That won’t get you anywhere in your business.
Taking action even when you don’t feel like it is key for you to create the lifestyle you always wanted. If not, you can keep the lifestyle you have right now.
It’s EASY to watch TV. It’s EASY to dial into a training webinar or conference. It’s EASY to read your 10 pages of personal development.
But those things alone WILL NOT build your business. Taking action with real income producing activities is what will get you closer to the lifestyle you always wanted.
Taking Action – How to get moving
Are you stuck in a rut of not taking action? Here are some tips to help you take action even when you don’t feel it.
Remember, the only real activities that count are those that will produce income for you.
- Create your vision. What do you really want in life? Is your current path getting you closer to that vision? If you don’t have a vision at all, that is part of your problem. You have to know what you want in order to achieve it. Know what you want in life and create a plan for how to get there.
- Are you willing to settle for what you have now? Look at your life, your time, your finances, and your job. Is this what you want life to be like forever? For the next ten years? For the next year? Well guess what? That is what you will have if you continue to just do things in your business when you feel like it. We take action whether we feel like it or not. It’s called discipline and is the difference between the life you have now, and the life you really want.
- Take action. Whether you feel like it or now, take action on an income producing activity. Talk to someone new, share your business or products, write a blog post, create a marketing video or something else. Do something productive today.
In our profession, taking action is about commitment, not whether we feel like it or not. It’s about discipline.
The next time you don’t feel like it, remember what you really want in life and go after it. Think about how happy you will feel when you achieve freedom in your life and the things that are meaningful to you.
